HISTORY OF FIVE SEASONS
Five Seasons is a family business that was founded in 1982, but our heritage harks back to 1888 when Per Persson launched the leather brand S. P. Persson in Malung.
Per was an exceptionally smart businessman and he transformed the industry by owning both the factories and the stores where the products were sold directly to the end customer at the most prominent addresses in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In time, S. P. Persson became the Purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden and one of the largest suppliers of uniforms to the Swedish Armed Forces.
It was with these thoughts in mind that Per Persson's great grandchildren founded Five Seasons in 1982. The vision was to become Europe's leading supplier of ski and sports goods, offering very high quality in relation to price. This was made possible by the fact that Five Seasons was one of the first brands to produce in Asia at, comparatively, considerably lower production costs.
Today, Five Seasons is run by a new generation with the ambition to turn Five Seasons into the leading supplier of ready-to-wear ski, outdoor and sports clothing in the value segment to Europe's relation to price.
