Roces was established in 1952 by the Cavasin family in Montebelluna (Italy). It is still today a family run business. The brand Roces is worldwide renown for the design and manufacturing of inline skates, ice skates, quad skates, skateboards, scooters, accessories for skating and last but not least IDEA, the first and only real size adjustable skiboot for kids.
Here are the company milestones and time line:
1978: the very first ever composite ice skate is introduced on the market, a huge innovation also for the future developments of rental ice skating product;
1981: Roces develops the first ever inline skate;
1994: Roces R&D studies and design the first ever size adjustment skate for kids;
1996: the year of M12: M12 is aggressive skating, aggressive skating is M12;
2006: Roces launches IDEA, the first size adjustable skiboot for children
Today: Roces means also IceGlamour, “fashion skate on ice”.
