Company profile
ALPINA has 40 years of experience in helmets and goggles. The company was founded in Friedberg near Augsburg in Bavaria in 1980. Many innovations in ski-, sports- and sunglasses have made the company well known and made it a market leader in ski goggles in Germany.
Since 1992 also bike and ski helmets belong to the ALPINA product range. The majority of ALPINA's products are developed at the company's headquarters in Sulzemoos (between Munich and Augsburg) and produced in Bavaria. "Made in Germany" is an important issue for ALPINA. On the one hand to ensure the product quality, on the other hand to strengthen Germany as a work location.
