Company profile

In 1953 Renato Covini had the intuition to create a ski binding which was more comfortable and functional than those already on the market. Thus Reactor was born, the first ski binding without cables. The revolution in the world of skiing. From that fundamental moment, the production has spanned through the years in the universe of sports equipment. From poles and ski bindings, to roller skates. From tennis rackets, to bicycle forks and frames. In the last decades, COBER has decided to focus on the winter sports sector. It has pursued the constant technical evolution of the pole, and has undertaken to create new ones dedicated to each new discipline born. For these reasons, the traditional production for downhill, ski touring and cross-country poles has been joined by that dedicated to freestyle and freeride, and by the production of poles for summer sports, such as trekking and Nordic Walking. Our main goal, as well as our passion, is to encourage sports lovers to reach and overcome their limits, providing them with the best materials and tools for making this possible. This is what drives us everyday to research new technologies for enhancing our poles, and to create grips which are ergonomic and suitable for every need.

Your passion, our tradition.
