XAMAS is a high fashion performance sports and skatewear brand created by haute couture designer and former professional athlete, Samantha Giraud. As a former figure-skater and coach, Samantha injects her personal style and practical experience in the designs she creates. Each one of her collections seamlessly melds functional utility and style with unique designs developed with the latest sports fabrics and technologies.

Samantha Giraud, founder and creative director of the global luxury performance sportswear brand XAMAS, began training as a figure skater at the age of 10, went on to win many awards at competitions, and took part in many ice-skating performances. As a professional athlete and figure skater, she had sewn her own ice-skating competition dresses and costumes, a natural extension of her love and pursuit of beauty and aesthetics. She understands that even outstanding skaters need to have access to the right apparel and equipment in order to be successful.

In 1999, she took on a new role as a skating coach for aspiring and experienced skaters. Apart from figure-skating techniques, Samantha believes a well-rounded and strong performance must also be blended with beautiful music and elegant clothing, allowing the ice-skater to fully immerse themselves in the performance and engage the audience.

With her understanding of ice-skating, keen eye for fashion trends, and knowledge of clothing production, draping, and tailoring, Samantha began to sew competition costumes for her students, and this set the primary stage for the launch of XAMAS more than 15 years ago. Thereafter, Samantha worked to design and produce high-quality performance skate and sportswear, using the latest sports fabrics and technologies. The concept of melding of high fashion style and design with high-performance skate and sportswear technology and fabric is now the cornerstone of the XAMAS brand.
