With the 2010-11 collection highlights, we are emphasizing our technical advance and our environmental consciousness.
· X-Plore.XGX is the world’s first glove with full GPS functionality. We leave traces. Not only in fresh powder snow. In the World Wide Web as well: while skiing, altitude, speed, distance, duration and other route data can be displayed. The GPS navigates you securely even in the most adverse weather conditions through a planned route, downhill or back to your parked car. Your outdoor experiences can be documented via the supplied software and the route displayed in the web. The display is on the thumb – thus, data can be read during a slow downhill, and the controls on the upper hand are simple to use. We present this high-tech model with Gore-Tex® X-Trafit technology – for an optimal grip, perfect mobility and lasting comfort. The glove with outdoor computer is delivered in classy packaging that includes a USB stick, USB cable and integrated lithium ion batteries.® makes for dry, warm hands and the highest breathability. The name says it all: FLUFFY.GTX is available in many colors.
· Ecological Line by ZANIER For the first time, we are presenting three glove models made entirely of recycled materials. As a partner, ZANIER is cooperating with PYUA, which manufactures sustainable functional clothing according to the motto “ECORRECT FREERIDE” and thereby perfectly complements our passion for winter sports. PYUA also takes the products back after use in order to return them to the closed recycling loop. CITY.ZB is an outdoor model, SPRING.ZB a light all-round glove – and WINTER.ZX is an alpine model with an entirely recycled Eco Storm Membrane (waterproof and windproof). All three models have a comfortable 4-way stretch and are available in women’s, men’s and unisex versions.
· Warm hands with ZANIER The world’s first heated glove, HEAT.GTX, is starting its 11th season – light and functional. The 60-gram light, robust, high-quality lithium ion batteries warm to 3 levels for up to 12 hours. The supplied battery charger recharges the batteries overnight. Also available as a mitten: HOT.GTX.
With the ZANIER Heat-Pads we have developed a natural, quick variant for extreme temperatures: the Heat-Pads are placed in the pocket in the gloves’ upper hand and emit an even, pleasant warmth for up to 8 hours. · As outfitter of the Austrian Ski Federation Snowboard Team – incidentally the most successful team of the 2009-10 season – input from the athletes is incorporated into development. Among the 9 models of the Snowboard Line (7 with membrane), the glove of the hour for our team is the AIR-PRO.GTX: a slender glove with a neoprene cuff, leather and 4-way stretch ZA-Flex. Waterproof, windproof and breathable thanks to Gore-Tex® and warm thanks to Thinsulate isolation. In addition, the overglove VENT warms the hands with warm, soft and light ZA-Loft isolation – and motivates the skier with a gladiator print, which represents the Austrian fighting spirit.
· The development with the Austrian Ski Federation Snowboard Team is also incorporated into our Racing Line: six models, three with ZA-Tex membrane and one with Gore-Tex® provide for speed and protection, with lots of leather and protectors, and are mostly isolated with warm ZA-Loft. · The alpine segment is once again far-reaching – in their look, six classic alpine models differentiate themselves from hip Freeride gloves. Alpine classic PLANAI.GTX with Gore-Tex®, ZA-Loft isolation and comfortable 4-way stretch ZA-Flex for women and men. Freeride models: FÜGEN.GTX – a glove like a race car: the ventilators make for a hot look and are functional. Gore-Tex® membrane, warm, soft and light ZA-Loft isolation and comfortable 4-way stretch ZA-Flex, for women and men. DACHSTEIN.GTX in a mix of leather and microfiber, with Gore-Tex® and ZA-Flex.
· News in the Kids Line (11 models, 10 with membrane) is a Gore-Tex® model with soft, warm and light artificial down isolation Primaloft. Gore-Tex
· The Ladies Line models are sportier – consistently classy models in slender cuts and mixed materials are the trend. · Headwear and Accessoires – the launch of the hat collection last season was a total success – and for 2010-11 the segment has been extended to 50 models of women’s, men’s and children’s accessoires. Function: Windstopper® or Thermolite® for great wearing comfort.
